How much time should I allow for Hair and Makeup on my wedding day?

45 minutes per person is needed for makeup

1 hour per person for hair is required (simpler updo’s may require slightly less time)

For groups of 2 or more, myself and another artist will attend to satisfy your needs.

I always aim to be completed 30 minutes prior to your leaving time to allow for dressing and photos.

Will my makeup and hair last all day?

Yes, I always use primers as well as setting powder and spray to set the makeup.

In the summer, it may be best to purchase a pressed powder to prevent shininess in photo’s.

What brands do you use?

I mainly stock MAC makeup products. Other products include Makeup Forever, NARS, Urban Decay, Bioderm and Skindanavia. For hair, I mainly use Goldwell, Morrocan Oil and Kevin Murphy.

Can you do both hair and makeup?

Yes, for 1 or 2 people I will do both hair and makeup. However for more people, I will organize other highly qualified stylists to assist.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required. This can be paid into my business bank account to secure a date. Unfortunately I cannot hold the date until the deposit has been confirmed

What do you base your prices on?

I believe my prices are reasonably based on my experience, skill and the products I use. I am a fully qualified hairdresser and makeup artist and continuously invest in furthering my skills and knowledge to provide the best service to my customers.
